Updated policy brief on water sector available here

31.03.2012 13:57
Poorest 20% of households benefit from water supply subsidization about 4 times less than the richest 20%.
The objective of this policy brief is to initiate discussion among relevant Government ministries and agencies on the issue of removing current inefficiencies resulting from the direct subsidization of water supply and sanitation services. The supposed end goal of this Policy Brief is to replace current subsidies with additional money paid to the poorest households as
part of the Family Benefit.
